Jesus "Chuy" Hernandez 1930-2016 Jesus "Chuy" Hernandez, 86, passed away peacefully Wednesday July 27, 2016. He was born on June 20, 1930 in Fort Stockton, Texas. Jesus was a person who loved to make his family and friends laugh. His children and grandchildren were special in his eyes and loved them very much. Each of them held a special place in his heart. Jesus passed from this earthly world to be reunited with our Lord and Savior. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Flora Hernandez and Jesus Reyes Sr. Sons; Joe, Mike "Foro", and Paul "Pole" Hernandez. His granddaughter, Crissy Hernandez. Jesus was survived by his daughter, Dianna and husband Javier Gutierrez, his son, Albert "Beto" Hernandez of Fort Worth, Texas. His sister, Rafaela and husband Domingo Ortega of Bakersfield, California. His grandchildren, Frank Jacob Abrego, Jesse Hernandez, Rosie Gutierrez, Joe Robert Olivo, Anthony Hernandez, and Ricky Hernandez all of Fort Worth, Texas. Paul Anthony Lugo and Crystal Hernandez of San Antonio, Texas. Jesus also had seventeen great grandchildren, several cousins, nieces and nephews. While the family is greatly saddened by his death, they rejoice and celebrate his eternal life in his new home with our Lord and Savior in the Kingdom of Heaven. A memorial service will be held Thursday 5:30 pm August 4, 2016 at Roberts Family Affordable Funeral Home, along with a reception that will follow all here at 6:30 pm.
