Jo Ellen Meglasson

1950 - 2023

Jo Ellen Meglasson passed away on June 23, 2023, after a long battle with Parkinson's disease.

Jo Ellen was born on September 27, 1950, to Bruce and Regenia in Fort Worth.

She is preceded in death by her husband; Howard Lunsford of Springtown, Parents; Bruce and Regenia Baker of Fort Worth, and older sisters, Ann and Kay.

Jo Ellen is survived by her three daughters and sons-in-law; Kathy and Bill Mohr of Carthage, Jackie and David Morgan of Springtown, and Wendy and Steven Hodges of Fort Worth. Her grandchildren include Danielle and Jim Suchy, Kay and Matt Johnson, and Khris Mohr, all of Carthage; Katie and Collin Cash of Emory; Zoe and Olivia Scott of Springtown; and Lilly and Lance Hodges of Fort Worth. She was also blessed with eight great-grandchildren including Zach, Zoey, Alec, Halen, Korbin, Avery, Emma, and River; and one great-great grandchild Laylah.

Services will be held at Woodland Christian Church in Timpson, Texas on Saturday July 1, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Lunch will be provided for the family and close friends.
