Joe Fred Miller 1942 - 2016 Joe Fred Miller of Springtown, Texas passed away on May 15, 2016. Joe was born February 17,1942 in Claremore, Oklahoma to his parents, Ollie Miller and Hazel England-Miller. We honor Joe's sacrifices that have been made to our wonderful nation as he served in the United States Military. Joe remained a humble servant to God, Family, and Country until his passing. After his military service, Joe worked as a truck driver. Joe loved the majestic scenery of nature that our beautiful country has to offer. We often heard of the places he would go and the sights he would see. He loved the open road and the adventure it brought to him. Joe met and later married the love of his life, Linda Rasberry on November 13, 1967 in Fort Worth, Texas. Joe's life revolved around his family and he loved them dearly. Joe will be remembered as many things to many different people. To his children, a loving and caring father. There is nothing like the love of a father. Joe leaves behind his sons, Jimmy and Larry Miller as well as his daughter, Glenda White and husband Phillip. Joe also leaves behind his grandchildren, Nathan White, Kristina Morris, Joshua White and Tice Miller. Joe loved spending time with his grandchildren as so many grandfathers do. Grandchildren often bring a spark of life and joy into their grandparent's hearts. This holds true in the relationship that Joe had with his grandchildren. Other survivors include his great grandchild to be, Baby White; his sister, Francis Scroggins; his sister, Ruth Busby and husband Minor along with several other nieces and nephews. Joe is preceded by his parents, Ollie and Hazel Miller; his brothers Tim and Russell Miller. Russell and Joe were the best of friends. They would do everything and go everywhere together. Russell was lost to us only a few months ago and I am sure they met just on the other side. They are taking their final adventure together. We do not say goodbye to Joe, rather we will see you soon. Joe will remain in our hearts till we meet again.
