Josefina Cortez (1970-2015) Josefina Cortez was born May 2, 1970 in Mexico to her parents, Luis and Josefina Cortez, and passed away December 4, 2015 in Arlington, Texas. Josefina loved her family very much. She also loved her Dallas Cowboys. Her family will remember her as a joyful person who loved to joke and smile. She was a great cook and enjoyed going to Winstar. Josefina leaves behind her husband Ruben Cortez, her five daughters, Vanessa, Mellissa, Marisella Torres, Liliana, and Stephanie Morales, her two sons, Ildefonso and Adam Morales, her ten grandkids, three nieces, seven nephews, her cousin, Anna Garcia, her father, Luis Zendejas, and many other family memebers. We will miss her as we hold her dearly in our hearts.
