Memorable moments and achievements:

"Joyce always expressed love and joy with and around everybody she came in contact with." - Robert Konopasek

"Whenever I would call my mom, she would always be watching Wagon Train. Wagon Train and Gunsmoke were her favorite TV shows. We would talk about our days and her show. Talking to mom on the phone was the highlight of every evening" - Tonia Coulston

"My favorite memory of my Meemaw was when she was staying over one evening when I was a young kid. Late at night, I told her I was hungry and she made me an Oreo with whipped cream on it. I walked back to my room very happy until I saw my mom, who took my cookie saying I didn't need sugar this late at night. My Meemaw scolded her until mom gave my cookie back and I was happy." - Alice Coulston

"She was my Aunt, but she always acted as a mother. She would always feed me and take care of my needs." - Sam Roberts

"Joyce had a kind heart and did things her way no matter what." - Glenda White

"Mimaw made the best meatloaf, and I hate meatloaf! Love you Mimaw" - John Moss

"Joyce had the kindest heart and took care of everybody. Anytime you came by she would want to feed you. Never left her house hungry." - Friends

"I remember all the good times we had at lake granbury growing up with my cousins, swimming in the lake and having good times. One time I found my cousin Joyce about to swim right into a snake, so I yelled for her...Snake Snake!!!! Everyone swam so fast to get out of harms way. Fun times" - Mandy Spurlock

"She didn't care what other thought of her. One time at Tonia's wedding the shoes she was wearing were bothering her so much that she threw them off and went barefoot. It didn't bother anybody just wanted mom to be comfortable" - Rocky and Gina Williams

"Wild child at heart. When she was 5 she wanted to be called Joyce Marie Princess Kimberley Smith, one day while at the grocery store she got away from us and went to customer service so they would call her name on the intercom. It was the funniest thing her doing that. She will be missed so much." - Ronnie Williams

"When Tonia was little Joyce could not leave the room whatsoever without Tonia throwing the biggest fit in the world. It was hard to separate her from mom but one night we wanted you to stay over so we asked Joyce just to leave while I was playing you in my room and I think Joyce might have had the same fit leaving you at my house. Her love grew deep with her children and would do anything for them." - Christina Roberts
