Juanita Alvarez October 27, 1953 ~ August 3, 2017 Juanita Alvarez went to be with the Lord on August 3, 2017 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Donna, Texas on October 27, 1953 to her parents, Alejandro Trevino and Juanita Palacios. Juanita was a beautiful, caring woman. She loved God and all of her family. She enjoyed music, dancing, and spending time with her family. She is greatly loved and will be missed dearly. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me but also to all who have loved his appearing." - 2 Timothy 4:7-8 Juanita is survived by Alex Luna, David Luna, Sandra McGinnis and husband Ray, Jaime Esquivel and wife Veronica; her grandchildren, Samantha Bermea, Jamie Esquivel, Catherine Minero, Celeste Esquivel, Andrew McGinnis, Ray McGinnis, Madison Alvarez; her great-grandchildren, Sadie, Jayden, Aliannah, along many other loving family members and dear friends.
