Laura Elaine Parsons 1970 - 2017 Laura Elaine Parsons was born on August 13, 1970 in Fort Worth, Texas to her parents Billy Ray Baker and Karen Wallace Baker. Laura was raised with her three siblings, her two brothers, Billy and Cody, and her sister, Melanie. Laura was very close to her brothers and sisters and enjoyed a very close knit relationship with them as children. Laura returned to our Lord and Savior on March 4, 2017 in Haltom City, Texas. Laura met the love of her life, Leslie Mark Parsons in 1995 and they were wed shortly thereafter in June of 1996 in Fort Worth, Texas. Together, they raised a beautiful daughter, Katie. Family meant everything to Laura. Her passion was cooking and every weekend the tradition became to have a family cookout. Laura was incredibly proud of Katie and Laura excelled at parenting, always being a very encouraging and loving parent and wife. Laura and Katie lost Leslie Mark on November 8, 2010. Laura is survived by her mother and step-father, Karen and Paul Fortier; her daughter, Katie Parsons; her brother, Billy Baker and his wife, Anne; her sister, Melanie Wienert and her husband Rob; her brother, Cody Baker; her nephew, Robbie Wienert; and her nieces, Averie Wienert, Savannah Wienert, Emma Baker and Mallory Baker along with countless of friends and family. Laura will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. While there is great sorrow, the family rejoices that Laura is re-united with her father, Billy Ray Baker and her husband, Leslie Mark Parsons. Laura is now in the greatest of all places, The Kingdom of Heaven where she sits eternally with our Lord and Savior and awaits the return of her entire family.
