Obituary

Luke Alan Blaido

1977 – 2023

Luke Alan Blaido went to be with the Lord on March 3, 2023, in Brownsville, Texas. He was born on December 2, 1977, to his parents, Lionel and Ann Blaido, in Mora Minnesota. He joined his sister, Kristen, and brother, Jeremy, to complete the family.

In his youth, Luke was a Boy Scout and a member of the Civil Air Patrol. He married Luz Gaytan on October 29, 2005, on the beach of South Padre Island. Luke enjoyed anything military and was a history buff.  Every football Sunday, you could find him planted in front of the TV cheering on his favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys. Luke's memorable smile and heart of gold will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to know him.

He was preceded in passing by his father, Llonel Blaido; grandparents, John and Amanda Blaido and James and Olga Robinson; his aunt, Karen Erickson; aunt and uncle, Clayton and Lorraine Hauglid; and cousin, Jason Heikkinen.

Luke will be deeply and lovingly missed by his wife, Luz Blaido; his children, Camila and Renata; his mother, Ann Blaido; his sister, Kristen Sutton (Chad); his brother, Jeremy (Stacey); and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 25 beginning at 2:00 PM at Roberts-Martinez Funeral Home Chapel.
