Manuel Cortez passed away on January 31, 2021 in Fort Worth, Texas.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2021, at Roberts Family Funeral Home from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Manuel was born on January 18, 1955 in Cleburne, Texas to Joe Cortez and Mary Duarte.  He was a true family man and took pride in being a father.   Manuel was selfless, and was always trying to help others.  He enjoyed playing his guitar and singing.  Manuel loved his Lord and never left home without his bible.  He cherished spreading His word to those who needed.

Manuel is preceded in death by his father, Joe Crotez; step-father, Angelo Cerda; brothers, Nicanor and Refugio; and son, Jacob.

He will be deeply and lovingly missed by his wife, Karla; children, Tammy, Jr, Joshua, Jesssica, MC, Karla, Joe, Nicky, Samuel, Sarah, Sue, and Israel; grandchildren, Johnathan, Jason, Joshua, Samantha, Jasmine, Manuel, Angel, Noah, Sarah, Troy, Abraham, Aniyah, and Nova; mother, Mary Cerda; brother, Angelo Jr.; and sisters, Darline and Gail.
