Obituary of Marcy Weaver Mauldin
May 22, 1954 – March 19, 2026
Marcy passed into eternal shalom with Abba the Father and Savior Yeshua on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at her home in Haltom City, Texas, after a hard fought battle of four year’s with lung cancer.
Marcy was born in Fort Worth Tx. to Ben and Lawana Mauldin. She grew up in the Fort Worth area, attending local schools, and later accumulated college hours while considering a career in nursing or another path of service to others.
The love of her life was her family, whom she cared for deeply. She cherished music, decorating, gathering with family and friends for special occasions, visiting Palo Pinto Ranch, and studying the Word of God on Shabbat with others.
She also enjoyed journaling and writing poetry when inspiration struck. Toward the end of her life, she loved sitting in her special swing made and hung by Amy and David and visiting with those who came to see her.
Her heart was always moved by the suffering of others, and she desired to help those in need. Marcy’s life was full of color, music, and a deep appreciation for the simple things—and above all, for her family.
Marcy is survived by her children, Travis Weatherly, Chris (Debi) Weatherly, and Amy Daniels (David Logans); her grandchildren, Kendyl (Brett) Martin, Rylie Weatherly, Dean Weatherly, and Taylor Weatherly; her great-grandson, Caven Martin, and another great-grandchild on the way; her siblings, Vicky (Ken) Brower and Karen (Greg) Clark; her nephews, Jason Brower, Robert Brower, and Jared Brower; her nieces, Rana Tyson, Kelsey Aldinger, and Kinsley Melvin; her great-nephew, Gabriel Brower; and her great-nieces, Reagan Tyson, Karrington Tyson, Kambrey Tyson, and Campbell Aldinger. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Lawana Mauldin.
