Marcia Louise Sherrod 1956-2016 Marcia Sherrod passed away on July 18, 2016. Marcia was born on January 24, 1956 to her parents, S.D Coursey and Marion Frances Grace-Coursey in Fort Worth, Texas. Marcia worked as a drug addiction counselor for First Choice Salvation Army since 1996 to 2002 where she brought love, compassionate hope and healing to everyone she came in contact. Marcia never met a stranger and was a very active and energetic wife and mother. Marcia was known to have a great sense of humor, having the type of personality that she didn't take any flack. Bikers referred to her as Mrs. Sherrod. Marcia could take a punch from the best of them. Family meant everything to Marcia, she was very compassionate and she always enjoyed spending time with them. Marcia loved her grandchildren dearly. Marcia is survived by her husband, Kenneth Wayne Sherrod, daughters; Andrea Abbott of Grandview, Texas, Kelly McCain of Albuquerque, New Mexico, sons; Shea Lindley, Blake Sherrod and Dustin Sherrod of Weatherford, Texas, grandsons; Khristian Borrego of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Jackson Sherrod of Weatherford, Texas, granddaughters, Maddie Leat of Albuquerque, New Mexico sister, Angela Soliz of Alvarado, Texas, brother, David Coursey of Weatherford, Texas and along with other loving family members and friends. Marcia was preceded in death by her parents, S.D Coursey and Marion Frances Grace-Coursey. While the family is greatly saddened by Marcia's leaving this earth, they rejoice and celebrate her new beginning with our Lord and Savior in her new home in the eternal Kingdom of Heaven.
