Obituary

Margaret Ann Clark 1936-2016 Margaret was a beautiful person with a loving spirit. She was a wonderful mother to her son James for 18 years, until he died of muscular dystroophy, She had her share of heartache, divorcing that same year. She didn't let it affect her heart; she'd find a penny and give it to a child; she'd pick a flower and give it to you with a big smile. She always said "Doin fine," when asked how she was, even while in the hospital. She had ehr ornery ways too, a friend recently said "she could be as ornery as an old goat," lol. She was a cowgirl who barrel raced in the early 1970's. Always had a soft spot for dogs and horses. She's always lived in Texas and never wanted to leave. She was an early riser and a hard worker, working most of her life for the city of Lake Worth (she was in maintenance), and years earlier, she was a volunteer firefighter in Azle. She liked to "go stompin," (dancing) and everyday kept busy eating out. Her last year she had a wonderful family of caregivers driving her around and taking care of her. She kept wanting to drive (and wasn't supposed to), so they took the battery out of her car and said they were waiting on a part :). She was a wonderful, loveable, colorful character and will be truly missed.
