Maria Trinidad Gonzalez, a long-time resident of the Fort Worth area, passed away Friday, June 21st at her home surrounded by her loved ones.

Born June 14,1924 in Torreon Coahuila, Mexico. Maria was known as "Trine" by her family and those close to her.

Trine was married to the love of her life, Hipolito Gonzalez Diaz for over 71 years until his passing in December of 2018, together they raised 7 children. She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother and was very proud of her family. Trine loved holidays and family get-togethers; any chance to spend time with her family was extremely important to her.  She expressed her love by cooking and caring for those who were important to her. Trine was known for her feisty, yet tender personality and good sense of humor.  She will be sorely missed by all that knew and loved her.

She is survived by her 7 children: Rosa Silva, Hipólito Gonzalez, Crisanta Castruita, María Isabel Luevanos, Gonzalo Gonzalez, Angelica Ramírez, and Leticia Zuniga. As well as 31 grandchildren, 69 great grandchildren, and numerous great, great grandchildren.

A viewing will take place on Tuesday, June 25th at Roberts Family Funeral Home from 5 -8 P.M. Funeral services will also be held at Roberts Family Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 26th at 10 A.M. followed by the burial at Greenwood Cemetery, 3100 White Settlement Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76107. Flowers and condolences may be sent to 5025 Jacksboro Hwy, Fort Worth, TX 76114.
