Maxine Kay Scarbrough 1947-2016 Maxine Kay Scarbrough passed away September 28, 2016 in Fort Worth, Texas. Maxine was born May 13, 1947 to her parents George S. Rice and Margaret Pearce in Wichita, Kansas. Maxine leaves behind her sister, Joann Lewis along with many other loving family members and friends. Maxine is preceded in death by her parents, George S. Rice and Margaret Pearce. Though we mourn the loss of Maxine, we think of her life as a song that has ended, but a melody that lingers.
