Melba Gay Pirie November 26, 1939 ~ July 15, 2017 Melba Gay Pirie went to be with her Lord on July 15, 2017. Melba was born on November 26, 1939 in Muleshoe, Texas to her parents, Dal Ragan and Jessie Hutchins-Crabtree. Melba will truly be missed. She enjoyed making people laugh and kept them on their toes. She had a wonderful personality and never met a stranger. She loved her family, they were like gold to her. She had a deep faith in the Lord that was tangible when she sang her favorite song, Amazing Grace. Her dog, Weeman, was her pride and faithful companion. She will be missed for her personality, sharp wit and her outrageous humor. Melba is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Hays and husband Rick; her sons, Sam Brooks and wife Rachael, Michael Pirie and wife Brandi; her brother, Carl Ragan and wife Irene; her grandchildren, Austyn Naron and significant other, Brian, Carrye Dimaggio and husband, Jason, Cody Naron; her step-grandchildren, Daniel Naron and wife, Laura; her great-grandchildren, Clayton Brooks, Aden Pirie, Zachary Pirie, Justin Pirie and Nicholas Moss, Arecia, Dayne, Ethan, Grayson, Ian, Jaxson and Kendalyn; her step-great-granchild, Damian; her brother, Carl Ragan and wife, Irene; her nephew, Randy Ragan and wife, Ana; her nieces, Julie Howington, Perry Ragan; her grandnephew, Micah Ragan; her grandnieces, Allison Ragan, Carolyn Ragan and many other loving family and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Dal Ragan; her mother, Jessie Crabtree; her step-father, Guy Crabtree; her daughter, Georgia Pirie; her former husband, Charles Pirie and brother, George Ragan. We are saddened by the loss of Melba, but rejoice in knowing that she is reunited with her family members and her Lord and Savior in the Eternal Kingdom of Heaven.
