Melody Marcella Stanley, also known as Yvette, went to be with the Lord on July 31, 2022, one day prior to her 65th birthday.

Melody was born on August 1, 1957 in Antigua to Danny Jones and Marcie Joseph.  She was a devout Christian and an active member of One Faith Church.  Melody took pride in being a mother to her son, Jason, and grandmother to her five grandchildren.  Her heart of gold and godly manners will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know her.

She has been reunited with her parents; mother-in-law, Jessica Stanley; and late husband, Arthurlin Anderson Stanley, in God's Eternal Kingdom.

Melody will be deeply and lovingly missed by her son, Jason Everton Jones; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Jones; grandchildren, De'Andre Jones, Daniel Jones, Je'lissa Jones, YaKira Cosse and Gerald Cosse; sister, Jennifer Seymour; brothers, Avon T. Davis and Terry Jones; sister-in-laws, Yvonne Stanley, Monica Brandy, Rose Jones, Meria Davis, Curlyn Stanley, and Pamella Stanley; brother-in-laws, Edred Stanley, Oral Stanley, Michael Stanley,  Merville Stanley, and Dwayne Brandy; father-in-law, Ernest Stanley; nieces, Harriet Davis, Jessica Jones, Sherene Stanley, Brittani Stanley, Breanna Stanley, Tenesha Stanley, Shemika Stanley, Ashaunte Jones, Shanice Tricoche, Tasha Hodge, Dorothy Hodge, and Amber Stanley; nephew, Mark Davis, Craig Davis, Everton Stanley, Dejaun Stanley, Devon Stanley, Edred Stanley, Shahiem Jones, Tija Stanley, and Oba Liburd; cousins, Thais Roberts, Tyann Encarnacion, George Richards, and Pamela Richards; special friends, Amerel Liburd, Deloris Mendoza, Olivia Penna, Linda & Bill Foust, Kimberly Jones, Sydney Hampton, and Dawn Adams; brothers and sisters at One Faith Church, Pastor Andy and Rachel, sister Priscilla, and brother Mark; and a host of extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 12, 2022, at One Faith Church beginning at 12:30 PM with a Celebration of Life to follow at 2:00 PM.
