Michael Augui Cantu

1999 – 2024

Michael Augui Cantu went to be with the Lord on April 23, 2024, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born on August 14, 1999, to his parents, Miguel Amaro and Esperanza Lopez, in Fort Worth, Texas.

Michael was a happy and smart young man. He was caring, creative, loyal, and empathetic. He was always smiling and living his best life. Michael loved his family and cherished each moment spent with them.  He enjoyed working on his motorcycles in his free time.

Michael will be remembered as a great son, god son, nephew, and cousin.  His contagious laughter, quick whitt, and ability to put a smile on anyone's face will never be forgotten.  Michael will be missed greatly by those lucky enough to have known him.

He will be deeply and lovingly missed by his mother, Esperanza Lopez; his father,  Miguel Amaro; his step father, Aurelio; his brothers, Angel, Omar, Rafael, Ruy, Jonathan, and Emanuel; his sisters Reyna Rodriquez and Mia Amaro; his grandmothers, Teresa Duran and  Rosa Torres; his grandfather, Miguel Duran; his aunts, Fortunata Gonzales and Maria Elena; his uncle George Amaro and his wife, Blanca Sánchez; his cousins Nevaeh, Miguel, Emilio, Samantha, Angel Marie, Andrew, Emily, Kimberly, Jackie and Jose.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 1st, 2024, at Roberts - Martinez Funeral Home Chapel from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

The Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2024, beginning at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church followed by Interment at Oakwood Cemetery.
