Obituary

Myrtle's Story Myrlie Fae Tilghman, 74, passed away on June 16, 2016. Memorial service is 11 a.m. Saturday June 18, at Christian Missions in Jacksboro, Texas. She was born March 28, 1942, in Jacksboro to Charlie Otto and Ann Ella McQuerry Tilghman. She worked in many restaurants in Jacksboro and Mineral Well, Texas. Myrtle received her license vocational nurse license in I 982 and practiced at Palo Pinto General Hospital, Faith Community Hospital and for hospice. She is survived by her daughters, Kay Staley, Star Kinder and husband Kenny, from Jacksboro, and Jerri Lynn Ricks from Lake Cypress Springs, Texas; grandchildren, Jennifer Gamer and husband David, Jason Staley and wife Kimberly, Kelly Jennings and husband Jason, Nicholas Coleman and wife Lauren, Shayla Mitchell, Shonna Reeves, Ashley Ross and Christa Kinder; brothers, Harold Tilghman and wife Helen, and Glen Tilghman and wife Vivian; sisters, Verna Mae Stansell and Dora Reynolds; sister-in-law, Joyce Tilghman; 18 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, and dear friend, Glenda "Cissy" Be11 She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Charles Tilghman, Walter Tilghman and Steve Tilghman and wife Dollie brother-in-law, David Stansell; and son-in-law, Jackie Ricks.
