Peggy June Powell 1925-2016 Peggy Powell of Fort Worth, TX passed away on July 24, 2016. Peggy was born June 20, 1925 to her parents, Eli Preston Best and Bertha Belle Best in Grand Junction, Colorado. Peggy had worked in retail sales with clothing where she brought laughter, joy, and compassion to everyone she in contact with. Peggy never met a stranger and was a very active and energetic mother and daughter. Peggy was very strong willed, as determination and grit were only a few of her personality traits. Family meant everything to Peggy, always spending her time with them. Peggy is survived by her daughter, Melody Lewis and many other loving family and friends. Peggy is preceded in death by her mother and father, Bertha Belle Best and Eli Preston Best. While the family is greatly saddened by Peggy's leaving this earth, they rejoice and celebrate her new beginning with our Lord and Savior in her new home in the eternal Kingdom of Heaven.
