Rafael "Borty" Diaz

Rafael Diaz, husband, father, and brother passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at the age of 47.

Rafael was born on November 06, 1975, in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico to Teresa Hornsby and Rodolfo Diaz. He worked as a chef and occasional mechanic. In his free time, he loved racing or working on cars, particularly his brothers Hellcat or his own Chevy.

Rafael will be greatly missed but is our hearts forever.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Teresa; his uncles, Luis Angel Torres, Jorge Luiz Alicea, Fredilan Lopez, and aunt, Sol Jewell.

He is survived by dad, Rodolfo Diaz Sr.; his wife, Brandie; his daughter, Samantha and husband, Ruben; his son, Ralfie; his brother, Louis Hornsby and wife, Lisa; his brothers, Carlos Hornsby, Rodolfo Diaz and Nelo Diaz and numerous nieces and nephews as well as extended friends and family.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 28, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Roberts Family Funeral Home Chapel.
