Ramon Munoz Rivera

1945 – 2021

Ramon Munoz Rivera went to be with the Lord on February 19, 2021 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born on May 20, 1945 to his parents, Feliz Rivera and Eleuteria Munoz in El Paso, Texas.

Ramon was an incredible father, brother, and friend. He worked in construction for many years and retired from Lockheed Martin 14 years ago. He was a very smart man, quick witted and knew a lot about world history. Some of his passions were reading, fishing, and spending time with his family. Ramon was particularly good at building things like bird houses, wooden benches, and painted beautiful rocks which he displayed throughout his garden. He loved to garden, grew tomatoes and jalapenos, and he enjoyed spending time at his home in the garden and his beautiful yard for hours. Ramon also enjoyed raising doves, goats, pigeons, rabbits, and goldfish for his grandchildren. His best companion was his dog named Chico, and Chico will forever miss him.

Ramon will be deeply and lovingly missed by his five biological children, Raymond Jr. Rivera, Arthur Rivera, Irma Rivera, Frieda Chacon, and Edward Rivera; his ten grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; his partner, Esperanza Rivera; along with other loving family members and dear friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, February 26, 2021 beginning at 5:00PM followed by a funeral service at 6:00PM
