Randy Duane Auvenshine
1952-2015
Randy Duane Auvenshine was born on June 9, 1952, in Fort Worth, Texas, to his parents, William and Billie, and returned to the loving arms of our Lord and Savior on June 22, 2015, in Azle, Texas. Duane loved music and loved to play the drums. He graduated from Azle High, as a member of the class of 1970. He was a self-employed master carpenter, and will always be remembered as a great son, brother, and devoted father and grandfather.
Duane is survived by his mother, Billie Marie Auvenshine, of Briar, Texas, his daughter, Lindsay Auvenshine-Bryant, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, his sister, Carolyn Davis, of Rhome, Texas, his brothers, David Auvenshine, of Azle, Texas, and Dan Auvenshine, of Weatherford, Texas, and his grandchild, Parker Bryant, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.
Duane is preceded in death by his father, Bill Auvenshine, and his son, Corey Duane Auvenshine.
A visitation service will be held at Azleland Cemetery and Memorial Park on Thursday, June 25, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 PM, and a graveside service will be held at the chapel in Veal Station Cemetery on Friday, June 26, 2015, at 10:00 AM, under the direction of Roberts Family Affordable Funeral Home.
Duane will be truly and deeply missed, but never forgotten, as we will always hold him dearly in our hearts.
