Ray Duane Adney
1961-2016
Ray Duane Adney passed away August 23, 2016 in Springtown, Texas. Ray was born June 3, 1961 to his parents, Clyde Adney and Silver Anne Wilson in Tucson, Arizona.
Ray worked as a tow truck driver where his everyday skills brought him to a new situation regarding someone in need of his help. Ray worked long and hard hours to keep all of his needs met. Ray was a very active man, for he loved to fish, work on cars and most importantly, spend time with his family. Ray was especially close to his sister, Aida Hunt. Ray was a proud uncle and dearly loved his nephew, Jesse James. Ray loved following the word of God and being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Ray tried his best to be a follower of Christ.
Ray is survived by his sister, Aida Hunt and husband James Hunt, his nephew, Jesse Hunt, and his aunt, Melody Brown.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Adney and Silver Anne Wilson, his sister, Mary Kay Adney, his brothers; Ricardo Aguirre, Reed Edward Aguirre and Jose Luis Aguirre.
A memorial service will be held August 27, 2016 at 11:00am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Their address is 1010 Timberoaks Drive Azle, TX 76020, flowers and remembrances can be delivered there.
