Raymond Dale Neel October 23, 1951 - April 22, 2018 Raymond Dale Neel was called to be with his Lord and Savior on April 22, 2018. Raymond was born in Weatherford, Texas on October 23, 1951 to his parents, John Burk Neel and Lura Loggins. Raymond met Danielle through a friend when they were teenagers. After their first date they were inseparable. The two were married on December 13, 1969, and started a beautiful family shortly thereafter with two boys. Raymond went to Pastoral School to learn the Bible and grow in his faith with the Lord. In 2005 Raymond retired from his job of 30 years in the gas and electric industry. Raymond loved his family and spending time with his boys watching football. He will be missed for his love and laughter he shared with all that knew him. "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love." 1 Corinthians 13:4-7,13 Raymond is survived by his loving wife, Danielle Neel; his sons, Johnny D. Neel, and Daniel W. Neel; his grandson, Noah K. Neel; his granddaughter, Kayli A. Pilcher; his sister-in-law, Dalana L. Middleton; his brother-in-law, Michael R. Bowen; along with many other family members and dear friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Lura Neel; his grandson, Johnny Neel Jr.
