Rickey Lee Fulkerson 1948 - 2017 Rickey Lee Fulkerson was born March 13, 1948 to his parents Aurther B. Fulkerson and Billie Jean Yancey-Fulkerson in Fort Worth, Texas. Rickey left this world at his home in Lake Worth on February 1, 2017 to return to our Lord and Savior. Rickey grew up in Lake Worth, Texas and graduated from Lake Worth High School. He met the love of his life, Barbara Williams in 1972 and they were married on May 13, 1973. Together, they raised three children, Tabatha, Michael and Mark. Rickey was a very diversified man, he owned The Corner Pocket in Fort Worth where many a patron came to his bar to enjoy a good game of pool, enjoy a cold beer and spend time socializing with each other. Rickey enjoyed spending time with his patrons. Later, Rickey went to work for The Tandy Company, where he worked for twenty-five years before retiring from the company. One of the first things Rickey did when he retired was to buy a boat. Rickey loved to fish and retirement gave him the perfect excuse to spend a little retirement money to enjoy one of his favorite things to do. Rickey could be found quite often at one of his favorite fishing holes, spending time on the lake at both Benbrook and Texoma. While fishing was a passion for Rickey, it was his family that meant everything to him. He loved his kids and grandkids and he enjoyed spending time with them and watching all their childhood activities and sports. Rickey loved all kinds of sports but he especially was fond of watching wrestling. Not only was Rickey a people person, but he was good with all that God presented to him on this earth, including his love of dogs. Rickey leaves behind his wife of forty-three years, Barbara Williams-Fulkerson, his three children, Tabatha Fulkerson and her husband Mark Gilbreath; his son, Michael Fulkerson and his wife, Tuesday; and Mark Fulkerson Sr. and his wife Stephanie. Rickey is also survived by his grandchildren; Johnna Fulkerson, Kayla Fulkerson, Clayton Fulkerson, Levi Turner, Dalton Turner, Marisa Fulkerson and Mark Fulkerson Jr. along with many other loving family members and friends. Rickey was preceded in death by both of his parents and his sister, Carolyn Murray. While the family is greatly saddened by their loss, they rejoice that Rickey is re-united with the family members that have passed away before him and the Lord that created him.
