Rita Barber Goodman, 82, passed away surrounded by her loved ones in Fort Worth, Texas on May 22, 2022.

Rita was born on November 1, 1939 in Los Angeles, California. After retiring as a CNA, Rita enjoyed reading mystery novels and watching westerns. She especially enjoyed spending time with her beloved dog, Lucy. While in Arizona, Rita volunteered at an animal shelter and at a second-hand store.

Rita is survived by daughter, Tara (Brandon) Weiss of Fort Worth, TX, son, Kirke (Edie) Jayne of Wailuku, HI, son Daniel (Marci) Goodman of Wilton, CT, daughter Bobbi (Jerry) DeLozier of El Dorado Hills, CA, son David Goodman of Fredonia, KS; sister, Bonnie Hughes of Scottsdale, AZ; grandchildren Ashley (Peyton) Houston of Arma, KS, Matthew Barnes of Bryan, TX, Gabrielle Barnes of Pittsburg KS, Hilary and Eli Child of Burney, CA, Ella and Max Wilton of Connecticut, Crystal Matheson of Salem, Oregon; and great grandchildren, Natalie, Remington, Zeke and Landon. She was preceded in death by daughter, Bonnie Jayne and sister, Arlene Sylvia. A celebration of life will be held at a later time.
