In Loving Memoriy of Rita Valeriano, 55 December 27, 1969 - May 4, 2025
Rita Valeriano, beloved mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and friend, passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas.
She was the proud mother of four - Michael, David, Jonathan, and Victoria - and a devoted grandmother to Jack, Milae, Galileah, Giselle, and Amelia. Family and boxing were the center of Rita's world, and she never missed a chance to show up with love, laughter, or support.
Rita lived life with intensity, passion, and purpose. Known for her fierce determination and boundless energy, she never let an opportunity slip by. From 2002 to 2008, she lived out one of her biggest dreams, competing as a professional boxer. She brought that same fire and courage to everything she did - whether in the ring, at the pool table, or simply enjoying time with her family. Even after she hung up the gloves professionally, Rita picked them back up to teach and inspire others, introducing kids from across DFW to the sport she loved most.
Rita was a risk taker, a fighter in every sense, and a proud mother who loved deeply and gave freely. Her legacy is one of strength, love, and an unwavering belief that life is meant to be lived to the fullest.
Her love, laughter, and unshakable courage will live on in her children, grandchildren, and everyone fortunate enough to have known her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
