Robert Allen Shockley 1950 - 2016 Robert Allen Shockley of Fort Worth, Texas passed away June 6, 2016. Robert was born to his parents, Allen and Billie Ward on July 30, 1950. We honor Robert's sacrifices that have been made to our wonderful nation as he served in the United States Marine Corps. Robert remained a humble servant to God, Family, and Country until his passing. After Robert's military service, he worked in the construction industry and later owned his own drywall business. Robert will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Robert also had a great passion for music and played many instruments and wrote many songs. There is nothing more vibrant than the musical beat that awakens something inside of you. Robert is survived by his son, Eric Shockley and wife Shellie; his daughter, Amber Cassell and husband Steven; his son, Jorel Shockley and wife Laura; his daughter, Rachael Hopson and husband Elliot; his seven grandchildren; his brother, Gene Shockley and wife Barbara; his sister, Sandra Claunch; his sister Susan Alexander and husband Doc; his sister, Becki Hunt and husband Prince; his sister Lori Barr and other loving family members and friends. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Allen and Billie Shockley.
