Robert Wayne Tankersley

Robert Wayne Tankersley went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 9, 2020 in Fort Worth, Texas. Robert was born in Fort Worth, Texas to his parents, James Robert Tankersley and Juanita Hamlin on November 2, 1956.

Robert was a family man who worked hard and loved nothing more than to support those closes to him. Robert never met a stranger and was always filled with laughter that brought joy to everyone. Robert grew up an adolescent in Fort Worth, Texas and remained in his hometown all his life. Robert was a hardworking union member and he had thirty plus years of service at American Airlines. Robert also worked as a mechanic for many years and loved being in a tool shop. Muscle cars were his passion and hobby. Robert will be dearly missed.

Though the family mourns the loss of their loved one, they rejoice and celebrate Robert's memory and his new life with our Lord and Savior in the Eternal Kingdom of Heaven.
