Roberto Hernandez 1945 - 2017 Roberto Hernandez was born April 17, 1945 in Mexico to his parents, Daniel Hernandez and Juana Montalvo-Hernandez. Roberto spent his childhood and adolescence in Mexico and where as a young adult he met the love of his life. On December 11, 1966, Roberto married Romana Martinez. Shortly after their marriage, the young couple moved to Del Rio, Texas in the United States. There, they began a new life together where they brought into the world six beautiful children. In 1987 a manufacturing job lead them to move to River Oaks, Texas. After working in various types of manufacturing jobs assembling computers, he eventually retired from the Castleberry ISD in 2012. Roberto was a very hard working man, but his job did not define who he was as a man. Roberto's love was for his family. His entire world revolved around his wife and children. He was the type of man that supported all of his children's activities and engaged in whatever they were doing. Roberto is survived by his wife, Romana and his children, Susana Cabello and her husband, Pilar; Alma Landrum and her husband, Robert; Belinda Parkey and her husband, Paul; Carmen Gipson and her husband, Reno; Bobby Hernandez and his wife, Holly; and Viviana Hernandez Roberto also leaves behind his grandchildren, Myra Lopez and her husband, Rodrigo Sr.; Leo Cabello and his wife, Rubi; P.J. Cabello; Crystal Landrum; Archy Landrum; Hillary Taber and her husband, David; Nathan Parkey; Tommy Parkey; Gavin Gipson; Kagen Gipson; and Zoe Hernandez. Roberto is also survived by his seven great grandchildren; Andrew Taber, Lilly Taber, Bryanna Lopez, Liev Cabello, Aliya Lopez, Rodrigo Lopez, Raymundo Lopez along with many other relatives and friends. Services will be held Tuesday January 31, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Roberts Family Funeral Home located at 5025 Jacksboro Hwy Fort Worth, Texas 76114.
