Rodrigo Cerda Montalvo went to be with the Lord on April 23, 2021 in Odessa, Texas. He was born on March 13, 1963 to his parents, Enrique Cerda Arriaga and Socorro Montalvo in Monterrey, Mexico.

Rodrigo was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend who was known for being a strong hard-working man. Always making people smiling with his jokes. He always put his family first, and those who knew him know he loved having a good time surrounded by family and friends.

Rodrigo is preceded in death by his father, Enrique Cerda; his four brothers, Louis Cerda, Faustino Cerda, Alfonzo Cerda, and Alfredo Cerda.

He will be deeply and lovingly missed by his loving wife, Carmen Cerda; his four children, Emanuel Cerda, David Cerda, Abraham Cerda, and Mikaela Cerda; his two brothers, Natividad Cerda (Rosa Cerda), and Guillermo Cerda (Paty Cerda); his mother, Socorro Cerda; over twenty nieces and nephews; along with other loving family members and dear friends.
