In Loving Memory of Rosario Salinas

1950 - 2024

Rosario Salinas of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, February 12, 2024. Born on January 31 ,1950, in Laredo, Texas she was the daughter of the late Rogelio and Teresa Castro.

Rosario was a very strong and caring woman; she had an easy-going personality and was said to be quick witted.  Rosario worked hard and never complained when faced with a difficult situation. She made it a priority to always be the best version of herself for her loved ones.

Rosario loved going out to eat and to shop, but also found solace in staying home, playing games and watching movies.  Above all, her best times were spent creating memories with her growing family.

Rosario was preceded in passing by her parents and her siblings, Magdalena Perico and Dalia Echols.

She will be deeply and lovingly missed by her children, Oscar Murillo Jr. (Joyce Woods), Yvonne Murillo-Torres (Jose J. Torres) and Cynthia Espinoza; her siblings, Yolanda Barrientes, Gloria Coronado, Silvia Rodriguez, Carol Salas, Rosa Marie Flores, and Rogelio Castro Jr.; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, February 16, 2023, at Roberts - Martinez Funeral Home from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM followed by a Celebration of Life beginning at 10:00 AM.
