Salvo M. Martinez

1975 – 2023

Salvo M. Martinez better known as "Cholo," passed away on April 4, 2023, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born on July 25, 1975, to his parents, Ruben C. Martinez and Maria Del Refugio Mayorga in Abilene, Texas.

Sal was raised in the East Side of Fort Worth. He was a lifelong jokester and always loved to play around. Sal was loved by many people and had one-of-a-kind personality.

Last request,

"Please don't say that I gave up, just say that I gave in; don't say I lost the battle, for it was God's war to lose or win; please don't say how good I was, but that I did my best; just say I tried to do what's right, to give the most I could, not less."

Salvo was preceded in Heaven by his father, Ruben C. Martinez; his mother, Maria Del Refugio Mayorga; his brother, Ruben Martinez Jr.; and his beloved sister, Rebecca Martinez.

He will be deeply and lovingly missed by his partner, Maria L. Munoz; his brother, Elvis Martinez; sister, Rachel Martinez Lyles; his children; nieces, nephews and other loving family members and dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 14, 2023, beginning at 1:00 PM followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 PM at Roberts Family Funeral Home.
