Shasta Hutton Abualtin

Shasta Hutton Abualtin passed away on August 18, 2019 in Fort Worth, Texas. Shasta was born to her parents, Charles Winfred Hutton and Bernice Evora Soderstrom on January 6, 1960 in Richmond, Virginia.

Shasta was a loving wife, mother and friend to all who knew her. Shasta graduated high school in 1978 in Elk City, Oklahoma. She attended college at Oklahoma State University from 1982 to 1989. Shasta obtained her bachelor's degree in history and in German, her master's in history, and a bachelor's and master's in accounting. Shasta began her career in accounting of almost 30 years with Exxon Mobil and XTO Energy in Houston, Texas on January 1, 1990. Shasta had a wonderful career, she worked with many great people in Houston and Fort Worth, Texas.

Shasta met the love of her life, Saadeh Abualtin, at Oklahoma State and later the two were married on June 7, 1984. Shasta had one daughter, Houdah Bernice Abualtin and she was the joy of her life.

Shasta is preceded in death by her grandparents, Fred and Bertha Soderstrom, Charles and Pearl Hutton. Her parents, Charles and Bernice Hutton.

Shasta is survived by her husband, Saadeh Abualtin, her daughter, Houdah Bernice Abualtin along with many, many other loving family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held on August 23, 2019 at 11am at First Presbyterian Church located at 1000 Penn St, Fort Worth, TX 76102.
