Shelleen "Shelley" Porter

1959 - 2022

Shelleen "Shelley" Porter went to be with the Lord on December 25, 2022, at the age of 63. She was born on August 31, 1959, to Gerald and Dora Klidies in Redding, California.

Shelleen lived in Cresent City, California where she worked as a CNA and a restaurant manager until she was able to follow her dream and open her own restaurant. It was a pizzeria called Big Louie's Pizza which she doted on and was proud of. While she was proud of her accomplishment of opening her own pizzeria, her true pride and joy came from the four children she raised. Shelley eventually moved to Fort Worth, Texas where she met her husband, Ken, and became a long-time manager for Auntie Ann's pretzels. After she was the manager of Auntie Ann's, she became a bus driver prior to her retirement. Shelley loved to travel and ride on her motorcycle alongside her husband. She was an avid animal lover who never shied from bringing home strays where she would love and care for them.

Shelleen was preceded in death by her husband, Ken Porter, and her grandson, Sebastian Ewing.

Shelleen will be deeply and lovingly missed by her daughters, Helen Ewing and Misty Siedschlag; sons, Joshua Ewing and Gary Ewing Jr.; her 7 grandchildren; and numerous siblings, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at Roberts - Martinez Funeral Home beginning at 2:00 PM.
