Shirley Ann Carter 1935 - 2020

Shirley Ann Carter passed away to be with her Lord and Savior on January 18, 2020 in Saginaw, Texas. Shirley was born on August 23, 1935 to her parents, Daniel Willis Gill and Doris Margaret Rutherford-Gill in Dallas, Texas.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Margaret Lemons, her son, Orval Carter Jr.; her eleven grandchildren; her twenty-one great grandchildren; her four great great grandchildren; her sister, Sandra Murphy; along with other loving family members.

Shirley is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Orval Carter; and her son, Walter Leatherwood.

A Graveside Service will be held 9:30am, Thursday, January 23, 2020 at the DFW National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway Dallas, Texas 75211.
