Sonya was born December 19, 1960 to Nancy and Billy Frank Tetens in Fort Worth, Texas. She leaves behind her mother Nancy of River Oaks, Texas and one brother Robert Tetens of Fort Worth, Texas. Sonya passed from this earth to return to the loving arms of her Savior on December 22, 2015 just a few days after having celebrated her 55th birthday. Sonya's father, Billy Frank pre-deceased her. Sonya met and later married Jimmy "Bo" Stacy. They were married for eleven years when Bo passed away. Sonya was the very proud mother of her two boys, Donald Sweeney of Richland Springs, Texas and Billy Sweeney of Fort Worth, Texas and her step-daughter, Tammy Stacy-Boyd of McCarr, Kentucky. Family was everything to Sonya. She was the grandmother to five grandchildren, Alicia Sweeney of Springtown, Texas, Collin Poe of Richland Springs, Texas, Jacob Sweeney of Richland Springs, Texas, Cayden Sweeney of Fort Worth, Texas and Taylor Sweeney of Fort Worth, Texas. She also leaves behind three nieces and nephews. Sonya had a very giving heart. No matter her circumstances, she was always willing to help a friend or a stanger. She offered her home to anyone that needed help. While Sonya will be forever missed by all on this earth, we celebrate her reunion with her husband, Bo and her father, Billy Frank in heaven.
