Susan Pickavance April 4 1949 – April 21, 2025

In Loving Memory of Susan Laurine Pickavance April 4 1949 – April 21, 2025. Sue, age 76, was the wife of Russell T. "Tom" Pickavance, the love of her life and favorite travel companion. Sue was a devoted mother and grandmother, and nothing brought her more joy than her family.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter in her children and grandchildren: Jason and his wife Dana Wright, and their daughters Paige and Preslea; Misty and her husband Sins Pakdimounivong, and their son Logan; Russell Pickavance, II and his twin sons Bowden and Arrow; and Timothy and his wife Jamie Pickavance, and their children Lyle and Gretchen.

Born in Tulsa, OK, Sue spent much of her life in San Antonio before settling in Fort Worth in 1994. As a young woman, she was an accomplished competitive swimmer – a strength and grace she carried throughout her life. Sue had faith in the Lord and peace knowing where she was going when her time on earth was done. She lived her life selflessly with a heart of generosity, kindness, love, and a great sense of humor. She was a traveler, from tent camping with Tom and their dog to exploring the country in their motorhome. A lover of spicy Mexican food, Sue also had a soft spot for Maine lobster, often joking she could eat it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Though she will be deeply missed, her spirit lives on in the stories we share, the values she instilled, and the love she gave so freely. We are all better for having been a part of her journey.
