It is with great sadness that the family of Timothy David Capps announces his passing after a long fight with cancer, on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at the age of 53 years. He was born April 12, 1964 in Montgomery, West Virginia to Carl and Rebecca Capps. Tim will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 33 years, Tammy and his children, Timothy Jr., Christina and Jonathan. Tim will also be fondly remembered by his one grandchild, Amanda. Tim will be missed by his 3 brothers, Matt, John, and Davie and his loving parents, Carl and Rebecca(Hiles) Capps. Tim was a loyal and dedicated employee for the City of Grand Prairie for 30 years. Tim loved to play golf at the Elk's Lodge where he was the Golf Commissioner. His other hobbies included video gaming and gun collecting. A memorial service will be held for Tim at St. Barnabas United Methodist Church in Arlington, Texas on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 11 a.m.
