Vanessa Rene Copeland 1961 - 2016 Vanessa Copeland passed away peacefully on June 1, 2016 in Weatherford, Texas. Vanessa was born on December 27, 1961 in Denver, Colorado to her parents, Odie Gaines Sanders and Audra Lee Stinnett. Vanessa was a resident of Weatherford, TX. Vanessa worked as a private home health nurse where she brought joy, compassion, love and laughter to everyone she came in contact with, Vanessa never met a stranger and was a very active and energetic mother and grandmother. Vanessa loved to cook. Cooking chicken fried steaks was everyone's favorite dish. She also loved to watch her girls play softball, being the most supportive; she was always considered everyone's mom! Vanessa was very strong willed, as determination and grit were only a few of her personality traits. Vanessa was very open and honest, maybe to a fault. Family meant everything to her, always spending her time with them. Vanessa had an enormous family and was proud of every one of them. Vanessa had married her beloved husband, Billy Jack Copeland on March 29, 1982 in Cisco, TX. They were married by Billy Jack's brother, Donnie Copeland. Billy Jack passed from this earth on April 19, 2004. Vanessa is survived by her kids, Brandy Davis and husband Kris, Robin Bowles and husband Justin, Bobby Copeland, Cora Copeland and Candis Copeland along with her grandkids; Seth Davis, McKenzie Copeland, Daniel Copeland, Kylan Bowles, Gracie Bowles, Kayden Copeland- Bullard, Justis Bullard, Ryeleigh Wilson, Layton Wilson and many other loving family and friends. Vanessa is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Jack Copeland, mother and father; Odie Gaines Sanders and Audra Lee Stinnett and her son, Randy Keith Copeland. While the family is greatly saddened by Vanessa's leaving this earth, they rejoice and celebrate her new beginning with our Lord and Savior in her new home in the eternal Kingdom of Heaven. Vanessa's Memorial Service will be Monday, June 6, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Roberts Family Affordable Funeral Home followed by a family reception at 2:00 pm.
