William R. Wyser III
January 3, 1943 ~ July 14, 2017
William R. Wyser III, "Bill", passed away July 14, 2017. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on January 3, 1943.
We honor the life and the sacrifices made by Bill. He was a career Marine retiring after 23 years. He had a distinguished career as a Marine Corps Aviator, which included several tours in Vietnam, helicopter rescues in California Mountains and a C130 pilot flying all over the Pacific. After retiring from the Marine Corps, he was a corporate pilot for Northup, in Hawthorne, California, a manager for Mortorola in Schaumburg, Illinois, then a teacher at Azle High School, from which he retired after 10 years. During his years teaching he began the TX 456 Civil Air Patrol squadron at the request of students. He loved working with the cadets and served as a commander of that cadet squadron for five years. Bill was also an active vital member of the Eagle Mountain Memorial VFW Post 2137, serving as quartermaster for the past three years.
Bill is survived by his wife, Diane; his son, William Gregory Wyser of Azle; his daughter, Andrea Fiacco, of San Clemente, California; his grandchildren, Christian Jacob Orpineda, Blake Fiacco, Kenneth Wyser, Kayla Wyser; his brothers, Richard Wyser, Reagan Wyser, Ralph Wyser; his sister, Francis Mills along with many other loving family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Rosa Wyser.
We are saddened by the loss but we rejoice in knowing that Bill is reunited with his Lord and Savior in the Eternal Kingdom of Heaven.
