William Lawson Green
1929 ~ 2017
William Lawson Green passed away on December 18, 2017 in Fort Worth, Texas. William was born to his parents, Andrew J. Green and Essie Leona Johnson in Weatherford, Texas on May 15, 1929.
William spent much of his life serving our great nation. We honor his service and sacrifice to our wonderful country as he served in the Korean and Vietnam War. He had many honors and accommodations for his faithful service to the United States Airforce until his retirement as a NCO Tech Sargent in 1968. William later met the love of his life, Charlotte Green and the two were married in 1974. William was a loving husband, father and brother. Everyone loved to be around William because of his great sense of humor and wonderful personality. William was an avid golfer who loved the game.
William is survived by his wife, Charlotte Green, his children, Andrew Green, Jeffrey Green, Pam Parks, David Green, Sharla Rainer and Shelli Hill. William also leaves behind his sisters, Ruthie Deathrage, Flo Davis and his brother, Carl Green as well as his numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren along with many other family members and friends.
William is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Essie Green, his sisters, Wilma Green, Dorothy Curtis and his brother, Ronnie Green.
Though the family is deeply saddened by the loss of William, they rejoice in knowing that he is in his new home in the Eternal Kingdom of Heaven.
