Mary Ann Hernandez
1957 - 2021
Mary Ann Hernandez was born in Fort Worth, Texas on March 24, 1957 to Jimmy and Aurora Hernandez, Sr. She passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 14, 2021 at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth.
Mary Ann worked for many years at the Dillard’s Distribution Center in Fort Worth. She was a proud mother to 3 boys. She lived every day for her 3 sons, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She loved joking around with all of them, but she especially liked bugging the heck out of her son Joe every chance she got. They all meant the world to her though. Even as she faced several health issues over the years she continued to care and provide for her family.
Mary Ann loved football and her favorite team was the San Francisco 49ers. She never missed catching them play on TV. She enjoyed her evening novelas and did not want to be disturbed while they were on. She could often be found on her tablet painting beautiful pictures during her dialysis appointments.
Mary Ann loved being with her family. She had a big heart and her home always had an open door to anyone in need. She had a will to always find a way to make things work. She was always ready to attend family lunches or dinners, parties, and cookouts. We were blessed to have Mary Ann in our lives and she will be greatly missed.
She has now gone home with her son, Jay Miranda; sister, Lynda Ayala; brother, Arthur Campos; and her loving Mother and Father.
Survivors: son, Joe Miranda Jr.; son, Mario Miranda and wife Ghazelle; sister Helen Guerrero; Cecelia Ortiz and husband Guadalupe; brothers Henry Campos, Jimmy Hernandez Jr., Johnny Hernandez, and Jesse Hernandez; grandchildren Marivel, Mario, Joe Marcus, Isabella, Syriana, and Amir; great grandchildren Sebastian, Malakai, and Amelia.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 beginning at 12:00PM followed by a service at 2:00PM
