In Loving Memory of Michael Leroy Crusha, beloved husband, father, and friend.
1953 - 2023
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Michael “Mike” Leroy Crusha, 70, who left this earthly world on September 8, 2023, at his home in Graford, Texas. He was born January 13, 1953 in Salina, Kansas to Lornie Royal and Doris Natalie Crusha.
Mike worked as a truck driver for most of his life. He ran a small engine repair shop for a time and sold Aflac insurance in his later years. Once thing he never veered from was his love for the Kansas City Chiefs. He made a few trips to Arrowhead where he would not only watch the home games but also stop to visit buddies along the way. When Mike was home, he always made sure to watch every game, supporting his team, if he had the chance. He was a family man who always tried to keep up with his children’s and grandchildren's’ many events and activities. It was important to him to keep up with his extended family and his friends as well. He will be truly missed by all including his dog Trixie.
Mike has been reunited with his parents, Lornie Royal and Doris Natalie Crusha; brothers, Bill Wyble, David Wyble, Ken Miller, and Jack Miller; and his sister, Betty Hanchett, in God's Eternal Kingdom.
Mike leaves behind his beloved wife of 43 years Lena; daughters, Sherry and husband, Billy Stephens; daughter, Autumn and husband, Hugh Wraight; son, Michael and wife, Chrystal Crusha; daughter, Gabriella Padilla; niece, Kamari Hauser; grandchildren, Ashley Stephens, Courtney Henson, Peyton Stephens, Malachi Stephens, Jacob Wraight, Mason Wraight, Clara Wraight, Jacob Hanchey, Sydney Fewell, Taylor Fewell, Hannah Crusha, Ethan Crusha, Elijah Jefferson, Khalil Reed, and Caleya Reed; 8 great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 15, 2023, at the First Baptist Church of Mineral Wells beginning at 10:00 AM led by Pastor Nathan Buchanan. Visitation will be held prior at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow immediately after the Service at Salesville Cemetery.
**The family requests for guest to bring a picture of Mike to add to a Memory Board so everyone can reminisce on the great memories shared. If you wish to bless the family, in lieu of flowers a Venmo account has been set up to help with funeral arrangements. **
