Neita Dale Shelly-Nielson, 85, entered Heaven’s gate on February 2, 2021 from natural causes.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2021, at Roberts Family Funeral Home beginning at 1:00 PM followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 PM.

Neita was born on October 24, 1935 in Flint, Michigan.  She was the middle child of nine children.  Neita spent most of her life in North Richland Hills, Texas where she made many lifelong friends.  She attended church regularly and loved singing gospel music and playing the guitar.  Neita was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Neita reunites with her three of her five children, Douglas Nielson, Marie Ellis, and Jean Brown.

She will deeply and lovingly missed by her children, Linda Ackerson and Robert Nielson; ten grandchildren, Denzley Jones, Bronco Jones, Betty Jones, Tonya Combest, Katie Gallegos, Cody Brown, Michael Brown, Jimmy Martin, Bobby Martin, and Christy Persichini; and many great-grandchildren.
