Randel Frank Gause 1949-2021
Randel Frank Gause journeyed into the presence of our heavenly father on March 28, 2021. He was born on November 20, 1949 in Oakland, California to Donald Frank Gause and Hallie Grace Ladner Gause. Randel was the oldest of five siblings. He resided in Fort Worth, TX with his wife, Gail, whom he shared fifty-one years of marriage and two daughters with. Being a father brought him great joy, but his heart was truly full when Randel became a grandfather.
Randel was a man after God’s heart. He was a quiet, humble, gentle man who was full of wisdom. Randel loved people and took every opportunity to tell them about the grace and goodness of God. He led many people into a relationship with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Randel’s testimonies of the Holy Sprit’s miraculous encounters with others left him and everyone he told in awe and wonder of our precious Lord. We can envision a long line of people in heaven waiting to thank him for sharing the grace and goodness of God with them.
Randel was a proud Vietnam Veteran, serving our country for five years before being honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy in 1974. He later began a career with the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office as a Jailer in 1989, and later was promoted to Corporal. Randel received his Peace Officer license before transferring to the Judicial Division where he worked until his retirement in 2011 after twenty-two noble years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Gail Gause; daughters, April & Craig Beling, and Yvette & James Bradshaw; 12 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
