Richard Lee Price, born in Fort Smith, Arkansas on February 10,1948 passed away April 3, 2021 in Bedford, Texas at the age of 73.
He met the love of his life Alice and they married on September 9, 1967 and stayed together until she passed away on June 1, 1996.
Our Dad loved his slightly inappropriate dad jokes, thought they were hilarious And was usually the one laughing the hardest in the room. He was a loyal Dallas Cowboy fan, but secretly known to root for the KC Chiefs. He never missed a chance to speak his thoughts whether it be to a stranger or someone close to him, and honestly the man kept an open mind in the end and would welcome change in his thoughts and heart. He was very protective to the point of convincing many of his daughters dates that he just might be part of the mafia. He always had a smile with him. Dad, you were compassionate and intelligent. You were stubborn, loving, sensitive, and strong willed and we loved you for it.
Most of all you loved our mom Alice and loved us, and the grandkids, put up with chihuahuas and teen angst better than any father would. Dad we know you've had some bad times in life, but we are all convinced your time with our Mom and us was the best.
Richard was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Alice Mae Price (Krewson) on June 1, 1996. Survived by 4 children, his daughter Tammy Morgan & her husband Robert of Fort Worth, Texas, his son Richard Price Jr. & his wife Melissa of Sasche, Texas, his daughter Traci Walt & her husband Rodney of Lee's Summit, Missouri, and his daughter Kerri Parker & her husband Dan of Defuniak Springs, Florida. His 13 grandchildren Stephanie, Richard, Zachary, Jacob, Holland, Sadye, Zach, Rileigh, Taylor, Maia, Zeven, Derek, & Alice. His 8 great grandchildren Lillian, Zaden, Jayla, Peyton, Beau, Hayden, Abigail, & Yahnis.
