Wendy Elaine Lancaster, 56, of Possum Kingdom, Texas passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on January 11, 2022, after a short but courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
A Celebration of life will be held on Monday, January 17, 2022 at Country Road Fellowship, 8088 Highway 16 South, Graham, Texas.
Wendy was born to Bobby and Maudie Farris on September 16, 1965 in Fort Worth, Texas. Later, she graduated from Perrin Whitt High School and worked various jobs throughout her lifetime. Wendy was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her family and embraced every moment with them, but especially loved her role as Nana. Wendy was a member of Country Roads Fellowship where she was a faithful woman who loved the Lord, church, and community. She had the sweetest personality, was kind to everyone and always had a smile on her face. Wendy will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
Wendy is survived by her mother, Maudie Farris; her husband of 22 years, Guy Lancaster; her 4 daughters, Jaime Hall & husband, James, Shelby Wimberly, Tyler Brock & husband, Macain, and Sydney Wimberly; sisters, Terry Ogle and husband, Ricky, and Patty Dudley, and husband Nathan; grandchildren, Jeremy Frost, Jasper & Jhett Hall, and Izabella & Hunter Brock; niece, Taryn Ogle; nephews, Dee & Ethan Dudley; step-children, Lisa Pender & husband, Jimmy, Aaron Lancaster & wife, Belle, Rachel Smith & husband, Joey; and 8 step children.
Wendy was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Farris.
