Gracie Cabello Fernandez – Madrid, a cherished daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, gracefully passed away on February 29, 2024, in Fort Worth, Texas, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Born on January 5, 1971, in Fort Worth, Texas, Gracie was the beloved daughter of Jose Fernandez and Juanita Cabello. Gracie is survived by her three sons, Daniel Joseph Madrid Jr., Michael Anthony Madrid, and Matthew Roy Jabez Madrid, her two daughters, Vanessa Juanita Salcedo and Jessica Abelina Olvera, and her cherished grandchildren: Daniel Madrid III, Eduardo, Mariah, Delilah, Charisma, Riley, Elena, Madalyn, Jose Jr., Melissa, Jacob, Faith, Zoe, Avery, and Olivia. Gracie's sister, Margarita Sanchez, and her mother-in-law, Abelina Samarripa, also mourn her passing. Gracie's love knew no bounds, and she poured her heart and soul into every aspect of her life. Gracie's passions were as vibrant as her spirit. She found joy in crafting, cooking - especially for the cherished Thanksgiving gatherings she hosted for her family, dancing to Tejano and oldies music, and sharing her beautiful voice in song. But above all, Gracie's greatest joy came from the time spent with her beloved grandchildren, whom she adored beyond measure. A celebration of Gracie's life will be held on March 8, 2024, at the Roberts and Martinez Funeral Chapel in Haltom City, Texas, commencing at 10 AM. Prior to the service, a visitation will be held, allowing friends and loved ones to pay their respects and share fond memories of Gracie. Gracie Cabello Fernandez – Madrid's departure leaves an immeasurable void in the lives of all who knew her, but her memory will forever be a beacon of light, guiding those she loved toward a future filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
